LET'S CROSS THE THRESHOLD AND AWAKEN MORE WITHIN
I help individuals, leaders, companies, and institutions uncover the deepest spiritual meanings alive in everyday experiences, leadership, relationships, and even science, so they can awaken more within themselves, within life, and within their experience of God.
Through messaging rooted in my Master of Divinity and my own journey of spiritual healing, I invite participants to crack open tightly held black-and-white beliefs. And rather than drawing lines in the sand of either/or, learn to live in the more authentic tension of both/and.
This tension is not a place for relativism or “anything goes.” Instead, it is a sacred space where we release our attempts to contain The Divine, and are instead humbled and empowered by God’s Mysterious and Infinite More.
In practicality, learning to embrace God’s More teaches us to seek that same depth in one another, our own self, and in life - encouraging us to choose understanding before judgment, compassion before anger, and love before division.
MY STORY
In the first grade I experienced a decisive encounter with God in the Eucharist. This encounter left an indelible mark, convincing me that I would forever be in service to the Divine. Over time this affection manifested itself in educational and career decisions with the conviction that my mission was to offer a message of HOPE and HEALING to the world.
MY DREAM was to stand at the heart of sacred institutions and give a voice inside the threshold between the human and the holy, translating Mystery into words that can transform and heal.
When I finally arrived at the center of the place I longed to serve, I was hopeful my mission was coming to fruition. In some ways it was, but not the way I ever dreamed. While I found beauty and truth, it was equally matched by BROKENNESS. It was a brokenness so acute that it forced me to ask the question, "Why Stay?"
I desperately desired to abandon the Church, but amidst my struggle something or Someone HELD ON TO ME . I knew this pain was ordained for my transformation and for my mission. I had to break and be healed by Mystery, so that I could offer something authentic and real.
MY MISSION became clear: I needed to keep moving deeper, not away from, this mysterious pain. I was being called into the both/and of beauty and brokenness. And through this experience of suffering came a divine, palpable, and unshakable healing.
This is the MESSAGE I offer now. The thrill and torment of wrestling with wonder, of entering into the gray, and of going deeper into Mystery until only the sense of infinite awe remains.
